Saving files in photoshop elements 2026

How do I replace a saved file without having to constantly rename the file? (Save in version set with original is unchecked). In PS2025, when I used Save As to the file, it replaced it - it did not create multiple versions.

To replace (overwrite) an existing file simply use File > Save or Ctrl+S
