Saving metadata

Hi is there any way/setting to auto save metadata?

Use case.

I'm adding place information to a lot of old photos. Now it would be so useful that the position was saved automatically to the photo if there was no gps entered already. If there were gps there could be a confirme check for these pictures. Same for adjusting create date etc. 

Or is there anywhere to add a feature request?

I'm happy with Photoshop Elements for my use, the organizer.... I could think of a thing or two that has room for improvement. 🙂
