Where is it? I get a message saying that I need to select the printer, but I do not see the pop-up with the selections. I have elements running on a Dell Win 10 desktop.

I fixed the problem! To do it, I uninstalled all Adobe programs and my printer, unplugged all external items (printer, headset, external drives), unplugged the computer from Ethernet and went to WiFI for communications, and the ran Windows Reset with the keep files option. After Reset was finished, I deleted McAfee and went to Windows Defender only, installed the printer as WiFI only. Then I installed Adobe Photo Elements 18 and tested the printing. It works!

Reset is found in Settings>Update and Security>Recovery>Reset. Do not try this unless you know what you are doing.

I have no idea which of the things I did was actually the key to fixing this problem. I also was having other issues with this computer and all the above steps appears to have repaired those as well. My machine is a Dell Win 10 64-bit, purchased 3 months ago, and rarely used until 2 weeks ago. The steps I took may or may not help others with the same problem. I consider them only slightly less inconvenient than the nuclear option of removing and reinstalling Win 10.

Hi,

Which operating system are you running on?

Is there a printer attached to your system?

Are you trying to print from the organizer or the editor?

Are you selecting an image and going to File -> Print

I am using Windows 10. I have a HP Photosmart 7525 attached to the computer. I am trying to print from the editor. I do print by selecting an image and going to File > Print.

I am able to scan into the editor with no problem. I tried printing from the Organizer and that does work. But even after successfully selecting a printer and using it in Organizer, I still cannot print from Editor.

The print engines in Editor and Organizer are different.

Suggest that you go to the HP web site and check if there is an updated driver for your printer.
