Sequence by Name Change

Question

I have just upgraded from Elements 2021 to Elements 2025.

Up to now, in Elements 2021, when I have edited a photo I have added a letter after the photo name. E.g. Original name 20250801_001, new edited photo 20250801_001A.

In Elements 2021 when photos in the Organiser are sorted by Name, the photo without the A was displayed first, then the photo with the A. In Elements 2025 it is the other way round - the edited photo ending with A is displayed before the unedited photo without the A.

Why is this, and is there a way that I can change it in 2025 to display the photo without the A first when sorted by Name?

Sorry - I see my problem - I didn't uncheck the box to not save the edited photo in a version set of the original.
