SERIAL NUMBER

I recently had to have my hard drive replaced and now need to install everything all over agin.

I am having a problem doing this as I can't find a number on the box that is long enough to be the serial number.

I tried a few others that I had noted which were earlier editions but of course they did not work also.

Has anyone else here ever had that problem, and if so how did you get this insrtalled?
