Serial Number not valid?! ELEMENTS 10 QUESTION

I purchased Elements 10 back in '11 or '12 and installed it onto the computer I had then. Elements 10 has a 3-disk package to install using a CD/DVD drive. 

Fast forward to now. I lost that computer years ago but I still have the 3-disk package. It seems the makers of laptops have gone away from a CD/DVD drive.  The HP laptop I have now does not have a CD/DVD drive.

When I try to register my serial number on the Adobe website it tells me that the number is "NOT VALID".

So, I went to the forums specifically about "non-valid serial numbers and what to do or whatever", nothing worked. 

The account I had back in '11 or '12, the email associated with it, is long gone. I can't recall it, I tried inputing old emails I had back then. Nothing. 

I tried installing the files from Adobe for Elements(.exe and .7z) but that still didn't work because my serieal number is not recognized.  

I have this new Adobe account. I have the 3-disk Elements 10 package I purchased years ago. What can I do?
