Serial number, where tot find?

I bought Photoshop Elements 11 a few years ago. I have a card box and installation CD. This programm is installed on my old very slow computer. I am trying to install this programm on my new laptop. I managed to download the programm successfully (with some help of Adobe helpers)

Now I need the serial number. There is 1 large number on the CD and 7 numbers on the card box. I tried them all but get the message that none of these numbers is the serial number. ??

What can I do?

    Thank you Ged, but helas luck isn't with me, so it seems, in this subject.

    Because: I have a box from a shop. The largest number on that box is 18 digids. And I understand that the serial number is 22 or 24 digids.

    If you're on Windows you can install this on the old PC and it should find the serial number for you
