Shadows/Highlights has quit working on my Adobe Photoshop 18. When I slide the bar back and forth, the picture remains the same. Thoughts other than re download the program?

    Be sure the 'Preview' checkbox is checked.

    Otherwise, try resetting your preferences : menu Edit >> General >> Button rest preferences on next launch.
