Share - Photo Mail & Outlook

I have been using PS Elements 11 for several years along with MS 10 and MS Outlook email services - with no issues.   In the past I was able to Share my photos via Elements-Share-Photo Mail.  This past weekend Elements is now informing me that:

"Elements Organizer could not finish creating your email message.  Please make sure the MS Outlook is selected as the default. . . .".

The Share Mail then closes down.  I have verified that Outlook is still my default (it never changed).  Oddly, I can still use Share-Email Attachments, so Outlook really does not seem to be the issue.  I prefer the "Photo Mail" (vs Attachments) for several reasons.

I have noticed several other people on this forum have had the same issues, but it does not seem this has ever been resolved.  Is there a solution????  And why did this only recently change?

    Hi,

I have just tried PSE 11/Win 10 and I was able to create the email successfully.

Which version of Office are you using?

At what stage does the share give up and report the error?

I always thought that PhotoMail was a good thing but I'm afraid that Adobe dropped it from PSE 13 onwards.

As I mentioned above, MS 10.  And this only failed since this past weekend.  It worked as expected for several years in the past, as recently as 3 weeks ago.

I can select the photos, select Share-Photo Mail.  Select my Stationary and Customize Layout.  Hit next and I get the above error message.

What also irks me is that I spent over an hour with Adobe's Support "Chat" - only for them to register me in their system.  They NEVER provided any help and now I cannot even contact them anymore.  I can only use this forum for "help."  So much for them being "We're here to help."

Sorry, but I thought that when you said MS10 you meant Windows 10 and I wanted to know which version of MS Office you were using.

When you go through the sharing process, do you select the recipients name from within the organizer or leave it until later? Do you change any of the defaults on the setup screens?

Is Outlook running when you go though the process?
