When I try to add text, it comes up saying "Could not complete your request because something prevented the text engine from being initialized" Any ideas?

FINALLY figured it out.  I typed in "users" in the search field.  that brought me to the users folder.  Then kept following the path on down toTypeSupport.  Once I got to PSE14 I changed it to PSE_old.  Yea it worked.  Thank you so much

My apologies.  I'm a newbee at this.  I did a copy and paste of C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\TypeSupport

in the search field.  Comes up as not found.  I am assuming I need to put something dif in the username area.  Sorry.  Help

    Yes.

[username] is your username on your own computer. It will be different for everyone.

The point is to locate the AppData folder in your own account in Windows on your computer.

Windows can have multiple usernames on the same computer. In that case, there will be multiple AppData folders. If you are the only one who uses your computer, then there is probably only one AppData folder.

I've tried this but I don't have this file - "C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\TypeSupport", showing on my PC.

    Any other suggestions?

I tried it again, then restarted PE15 and it works!
