Should I buy PhotoShop Elements

Hi Everyone

I’m looking at purchasing photoshop elements after seeing a you tube video on its organizing section. I’m wondering what version of Photoshop I should now buy to achieve my goals?  I’m looking for software that will firstly help me organize my photos, these are currently spread across multiple drives and folders accumulated over several years. Obviously the first step would be find all the duplicates and remove them, maybe automatically if possible, with the software
determining which to keep based on image Quality. I would like to automate as much as possible to minimize the time it would take to find all these duplicates over these many folders. Once organized I would like the ability to edit, share, and create artifacts formyself and family members etc.

However as I stated the first challenge would be to find and eliminate duplicates that have been created over time in many different drives and folders. (probably by me in an effort to back them up). Also I'm wondering if I purchase the software how many devices can I run It on an if I change my platform do I need to purchase new software specific to that platform. I'm currently using a windows seven platform but do envisage having to upgrade within a year or two to a newer windows platform and or I may move to an apple platform.?

What are your thoughts and recommendations? Is photo shop elements for me? Or should I be considering purchasing an alternative solution?

Thanks for reaching out to us. Photoshop Elements is definitely the product for you. It can meet all the requirements you stated above.

I would suggest you buying the latest version to reap the maximum benefits out of what Elements has been offering over the years. For a start, you can download the free trial version of Photoshop elements 2018 from- Download Photoshop Elements | 2018, 15, and 14  - as per your OS and language and buy the license later if you're satisfied with it.

You can use an Elements license on two systems at a time. To use it on other system, you would need to deactivate it from other systems.

You can purchase the mulltiplatform version if you wish to use the same license across WIN and MAC. If you plan to use it on only on WIN the a single one would work on all Windows versions.
