"Show Files selected in organizer" in photo bin in PSE 2024

All of a sudden, I can't see my selected files in the photo bin.  Specifically of files from batches older than 2024.  Any idea what's going on and how to fix?

I don't fully understand your problem.  Are you talking about the Photo Bin in the Photoshop Elements Editor?  Or are you talking about the Media Grid in the Elements Organizer?

If you are talking about the Editor, make sure that the Photo Bin is filtered to Show Open Files and not some other Organizer filter such as an Album or Keyword Tag filter.

If you are talking about the Organizer, we need more information about the problem.  Make sure that the Filter is set to All Media and not just recent files which may have been uploaded to the Elements Web before you ran out of Cloud space.

(Also check to make sure that the Media Grid is not filtered in another way.  For example, if the All Media button with the arrow is displayed, do the files reappear if you click on it?)

@mollyb14812475 It sounds like your Photoshop Elements Photo Bin is experiencing a common issue where it struggles to display or properly link with older files, especially those from batches before 2024. This often points to a problem with the Elements Organizer's catalog, which is the database that tracks all your imported photos and their locations. The catalog might have become corrupted, too large, or simply needs to be repaired or optimized to correctly show all your media. To fix this, you should try repairing and optimizing your catalog through the Organizer's "File > Catalog" menu, or as a more drastic step, create a new test catalog to see if new imports work correctly.
