Showing Keywords in Elements 2022

My Elements Organizer just imported over 1000 photos from Lightroom.  These Lightroom files all had keywords attached to them. When Elements Organizer imported them it asked me if I wanted to import the keywords too.  I answered yes.  But I don't see the keywords in Organizer or Editor modes.  How do I see them?  I'm somewhat new to using Elements as I have mostly used Lightroom.  Thanks for any help.

Normally, when you answer yes to import the keywords, they will all show up under the Imported Keyword Tags category.

You can then click and drag the imported tags to other keyword tag categories.  However, you can't click and drag them to any of the system categories (People, Places, Events).   In order to move your tagged files to those system categories, you need to create a new system tag, select all the files that have the old tag, and then tag them with the new tag.  It's a fairly easy process as long as you don't have hundreds of different system tags.

One other point when importing files:  The do you want to import tags? dialog has an Advanced mode that allows you to map the imported tags to an existing tag hieararchy (instead of placing the tags in the Imported Keyword Tags category).  But,again, you can't map a keyword tag to a system tag.

You have to use Lightroom to write the metadata to the files. Then Elements or any other editor will be able to import the keywords. In Lightroom as well as in the organizer, by default the keywords are only managed in the catalog.
