Slideshow in PSE 15 not working ??

Hi all.  I recently installed PSE 15 and after about a week it stopped creating slideshows.  After selecting photos and clicking "slideshow" nothing happens at all.  Or, if I go to the "Create"  drop-down menu and select "Slideshow" it takes me to the screen where you select a theme.  After selecting one of the themes and clicking "next" it flips me right back to the media view of the photos.

I am running teh Mac version.  Any ideas??  Thanks.
