Some photos are missing after import

I recently installed Photoshop Elements 2024. Now, in Organizer, after import of a file I only see some af the imported phostos!
Why is this happening? What can I do to make sure the entire folder loads correctly?

What is the source of your photos?  Some cameras and smart phones produce very high resolution images that exceed the maximum limit of the Organizer.  Alternatively, if the photos are raw files from a new camera, you may not have installed a compliant raw file plug-in.
