I have an PSD file and was trying to open with Photoshop elements 15 and i get following message

after some research i found out that some fonts might need update

but i wasn't sure of the Font name

how to identify the Font Name from Photoshop elements 15 tool

some text layers might need to be updated before they can be used for vector based output

I'm having the same problem, and when I try to click the text with the problem, it freezes

Getting this error as well. When I try clicking "No" or doing anything like clicking on the error text layer, deleting something, Photoshop closes. I've uninstalled the font seemingly causing the issue and the same thing happens.

Me too I just made an account to reply to this. I cleared the CT Cache and it worked one time... went to reopen the file back at square one ;-;

When you open the psd click No to updating the fonts.

Then after you have the file open little yellow triangles will be on the text layers that need to be updated

and you can see what the fonts are in the tool options bar.

After doing that, I am still getting errors when I try to change the font.
