Spot Healing Tool Brush Transparency

I have an awful time seeing the Spot Healing Tool brush outline, particularly against a light-colored background like a light blue sky.  I know that there is a way to make the brush non-transparent, because I found it accidentally in an older version of PE.  However, for the life of me, I can not figure out how to get it now.  Thanks for any help provided!

Hello,

Please go to the Preferences dialog box (Ctrl + K on Win, Cmd + K on Mac) and select the Display & Cursor option from the left panel. Then select the desired option from the list of available options under the Painting Cursors section. Hope this helps!

Thanks,

Thanks, but I don't see where to change the brush transparency in the preferences.  I did add the cross-hair which is helpful.

Hello,

In order to change the brush outline, you can select a hard edged or a soft edged brush as per your requirement.
