starting photoshop elements
I started a trial with photoshop elements but the organizer doesn't open

Can you also tell me what's the difference between catalogs, albums and folders in organizer. I don't understand how this program works and I can not find an answer on the website
Folders are the physical locations where your image files are stored on your disk drive. On a PC, this is the Pictures folder, but it can b changed. The Catalog in PSE 2018 is like the card catalog in a library - it contains a variety of information about each photo, including the physical folder where a given photo file is located on your disk. It is the heart of the Organizer in PSE 2018. Albums, are collections of photos that you create, perhaps to make a slide show or some other photo project.
You may find the tutorials I have posted on my blog explaining how to use the Organizer as well as the Photo Editor. This particular post lists the many tutorials I have posted over the past year. As you probably know Adobe and YouTube have a ton of how-to tutorials on how to use this program.

Back to your original question. It might be worthwhile to uninstall and then reinstall Elements. I assume you mean that you can go to the Programs Files folder and click on the applicable .exe file to run the program, right?
