Subject Select

I have Photoshop Elements 2022 on an iMac. I have to quit out of Photoshop and go back in, in order for subject select to work. If I don't, I get the message that a suitable subject can't be found. Even when it's a dark figure against a white studio background.

Hi,

 

Could you please share more details. Select Subject works only if there is prominent subject in the image. If it does not fine the subject it displays a message. Let us know if you are facing any other issue.
