Support CR3 Format in Photoshop Elements 2020

Can someone write me whether it is possible to install a newer version of Camera RAW in Photoshop Elements 2020. I currently have version 12.0.0.231. However, it does not support the current format of the Canon R6 (.CR3)
Many thanks to the experts for a good tip on the solution.

Try this: Update the Camera Raw version on your Mac or Windows machine
