I added a number of pictures that had tags attached to them.  I would like to set up my own categories and move the imported tags to sub-categories.  How can I accomplish this?

 

I can add the tags to sub-categories but then the tags show up as duplicates and I can't remove the imported tags.

Hope someone can help.

Hi Pat,

Where is the problem?

If you drag a tag or several highlighted tags from the 'imported tags' to your existing subcategory, there is no duplication?

Imported tags won't be dragged to new category.  Is there a specific way to do this?

By @patetc

No specific way, just click on the tag name, not on the checkbox. A right click also allows you to remove tags from the imported section, just like from any other custom subcategory.
