Text in Photoshop Elements

Is there any way to delete text from a photo in Photoshop Elements after exiting and then re-opening the program?

Only if the text is on it's own layer-

If:

PSE allows creation of layers

-and-

you saved the document in a type that allows and retains layers

then you can re-open the file and edit or delete the text box.

Thank you. As I flattened the image before exporting and then exiting PE, I imagine nothing can be done with the text box at this point. Was just hoping there was something I was not aware of.

With a bit of work, you may be able to use the selection, clone, and healing tools to cover the text.
