transferring photos to Apple Photo APP from Elements 18 Organizer on MAC

I need to keep original dates of photo taken. When I have tried to export photos from Elements to Photos the  date is changing to date exported. I just started working on this projet this wee.  Have Catalina OS. 

 

Too many pbotos to manual change date.

Rather than export, go to the folder and make a copy of selected items using right-click (control-click). Then paste to the desktop or new folder. Then add the duplicates to the Photos app.
