Transferring tags from one catalogue to another

I want to be able to transfer my tag lists from one catalog to another without retyping. Is there a way of doing that?

Yes. But it is best to do this with a brand new catalog. Otherwise, you may end up with a duplicate tags hierarchy.

In the existing catalog, click on the dropdown arrow next to the small green plus icon at the top of the keywords panel.
Select Save Keyword Tags to File. This will allow you to save the tags to an .xml file on your desktop.
In the new catalog, use the Import Keyword Tags from File selection to navigate to the saved .xml file.
