Transform perspective tool on Elements 2023

I'm using Photoshop Elements 2023 on a silicon Mac Mini running Ventura. When trying to use the transform perspective tool the image judders violently making it very difficult to see when the right point has been reached. Anyone else having this problem and know of a solution?

Yes i see that on the mac side with photoshop elements 2023 and several versions

before that as well on other macOS systems besides Ventura.

I've found once the stuttering starts, stop and release the mouse button or

trackpad, then resume and the stuttering seems to go away.

I have this quirk too, and I've found that if you turn off the rulers in the view, this bug goes away.

Thanks, Jeff, that workaround does the trick. Not optimal but infinitely bett than before. `G

Try unticking it.  Just because a GPU is integrated does not mean that it has to be used for program features.  But we have reached the outer limits of my Mac knowledge so I'll let someone else help you.

You may want to contact Elements support. You can start a chat session by clicking on the blue Contact Us button under the Help & Support menu at Adobe.com. Or you can contact Support by telephone using the numbers listed here: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/phone.html.  (Hours of operation are limited outside the US.)

I know virtually nothing about Macs so don't know if this even applies, but go to the Edit>Preferences>Performance dialog and change whatever setting is available for the graphics processor shown in my screenshot:

I am going to ping Community Expert @Jeff Arola to see whether he can offer some more specific Mac help.

Thanks, that option is ticked. I believe the Apple graphics processor is integral with the M1 chip
