Trouble opening RAW files (80+Mb) in Elements 2022

The image appears in Editor with an exclamation mark (!) in top rh corner and all controls are unresponsive.

Help please.

That Yellow Exclamation appears while the preview is generated from the camera raw image.

You won't necessarily see the real image on screen until it disappears.

The larger the camera raw file and/or the slower your computer is, the more likely you'll see that Yellow Exclamation.

Legend

When in the Camera Raw dialog of Elements, click on the 'Help' button.

In the help text which opens, there is a menu on the left.

Go to "Process camera raw image files"

There is an explanation for the different "Process versions"

My guess is that the exclamation mark is a warning that something has changed in the Process Version. Not sure, but if I ignore it, I have no problem.

And can you give us a screenshot of the Editor with the Exclamation Mark.

Does the raw file open in the ACR editor?

What camera does the raw file come from? I'm assuming it is a fairly new camera.
