Trying to use a Mac finger pad with Elements, won't work?

Can't get the spot Healing Brush to work with a finger pad controller?

Any help?

What happens when you try?

Your using a Macbook?

What version of macOS and photoshop elements?

Healing Brush (circle icon appears and can be moved but clicking on area does not change)

I have it set to Use area near by

27" IMac running High Sierra 10.13.4

Adobe PSE 16.0

Am I out of luck, options?

I don't want to go back on Mac operating system
