Question

two small issues with 2026

1) with PSE 2023, when I edited a RAW file in ACR I had the option to save the file with the Adobe RGB colour profile rather than the straight RGB profile.  I can't seem to do this in  2026.

2) when saving an edited file the time when the photo was created is reversed to GMT rather than PST.  For example an image created at 11:00 a.m. PST, when edited & saved shows the created time as 3:00 a.m.

Suggestions for how to remedy one or both issues is appreciated.

Thanks

Hello. Thanks for replying.  With an earlier version of PSE I had the option, when saving an ACR-edited RAW DNG file to a TIFF, of going with and sRGB or Adobe RGB colour profile.  I prefer the latter because I ultimately want to print my files.  This preference could be set so that it would do one or the other automatically.  That option is not available now; I have to manually convert the TIFF file to Adobe RGB.  Not a huge issue but am just wondering why that setting appears to have disappeared.  As for the time stamp issue, I am using version 26.2, has not been remedied.  A 12:00 pm DNG file becomes a 5:00 am TIFF file when exiting ACR.

It's not clear to me what you are trying to do with respect to changing the color mode/profile.  There have been some unexplained differences with how more recent versions of Elements handles the color space of raw files.  But I'm not sure that is what you are talking about.

There have also been a number of questions raised about the time stamp and metadata when saving files.  I am reporting these issues to Adobe as a bug.

BTW, do you have the latest update for Elements 2026.  I thought the timestamp issue may have been solved with Elements 2026.2.
