Question

Type size is TOO small!

What a disappointment!
I just purchased Photoshop Elements 2024 and the menu font is way to small to see.
I am using this program on my Surface Pro Laptop and would think that I could enlarge the program font size in the preferences. 
Nope.
Have read what some of the "work arounds" are and none of them worked for me or I didn't want to have my desktop icons and such huge.
Come on Adobe, do better and fix this so people can adjust the program menu fonts to a larger size in the Preferences.

The Surface Pro actually has a small screen, I can only offer one suggestion:    Adjust the UI scale factor.  
I am not aware of any program that lets you adujst program font size- only general global display settings as depicted below.

Your expectations are not very realistic:  The laptop sizes are pretty dang small (12.3 in, 13 in, or 15 in)--- I would never attempt any editing on a screen so small.   The editing screen contains quite a bit on information- all on a size smaller than a peice of legal notebook paper.

You can get a 24" monitor at Walmart right now for $70.

That's about your most realisitic option.  It will make things easier on your eyes.
