Unable to access Adobe Photoshop Element 10, getting error message. Can I unstall and reinstall software?

Getting error message "Unable to continue because of a hardware or system error. Sorry, but this error is unrecoverable. Quit." ??

You can certainly uninstall and reinstall your software without losing any work -- but I'd be surprised if that fully solved your problem.

What operating system are you using? Which processor do you have and with how much RAM?
