unable to convert a PSE 9 catalog for PSE13

I recently bought PSE13 ( for compatibily with nik plugin) and i am trying to convert my catalog of 11000 pictures under PSE 9 .

it doesnt work :

- the 9 catalog is not seen by 13 ( tho indicating its correct place) .

- if trying to restaure a 9 backup directly under 13 , the pictures are copied to the new place, but the last move , visibility into PSE 13 ( convertion of database ?) fail.

- it must be said that under PSE9 the catalog works but doesnt seem to be movable or repearable. (grey  buttons) since a long time ago.

so i really need help !
