Unable to Launch Organizer

Earlier today my laptop lost power while I had Organizer open. After plugging in and rebooting, I've been unable to get Organizer started, and I get the following error:

Clicking either yes or no simply greys out the box and brings up the Windows "close app" or "wait'. Waiting does nothing. I've tried using the Shift button to open the Catalog Manager, but I can't get past it. Hovering anywhere over the window gives me the spinning wheel, and clicking anywhere gives the same "close program" or "wait".

I have 100s of hours vested in this catalog and appreciate any help I can get.

Correct answer Greg_S.

I'm guessing that something got corrupted with the power outage.  Try uninstalling and reinstalling the program.  Delete the preferences file when asked during the uninstall.

What do you mean by this?  Are you able to get into the Catalog Manager?  If so, create and open a new catalog.  If the Organizer launches, try opening the problem catalog.  If that still fails, try getting into the Catalog Manager again and repair the catalog.

@Greg_S. I can get to the Catalog Manager, but when I hover ANYWHERE in that window I get the spinning circle. I can't click on "My Catalog" to select it. All buttons except New, Convert, and Cancel are grayed out as expected, but even if I click one of those I get this:

I cannot get past this to get Organizer to open or do anything when the Catalog Manager opens.
