Unable to launch Photoshop Elements 15 on Macbook pro running macOS Catalina

Question

I cannot open my Photoshop Elements 2015 version since today on my Macbook Pro. What do I have to do? I already went to an earlier Catalina version, but this did not help.

Photoshop Elements 2015 is not compatible with macOS Catalina. Please check: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/elements-mac-64bit-compatibility.html#AreolderversionsofPhotoshopElementsandPremiereElementsversions2019orearliercompatiblewithmacOSCatalina

You can either update to the latest version of Photoshop Elements of downgrade macOS to macOS Mojave or prior versions.
