If nothing has worked so far, try the following:

    •  Navigate to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Elements 2027 Organizer\
    • Right-click on PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe
    • Choose Run as Administrator from the context menu.

If you are using a new version of Elements on a computer with a prior version, there may be an issue with converting your old catalog.  Try pressing the Shift key while clicking on the Organizer icon in the Home Screen and see if the Catalog Manager dialog opens.  Select any available catalog and click on the Open button.

In addition, when turning on the computer (a desktop running Win 11) I get a error message Oxc0000142 indicating a corrupt file which it cannot open.  This occurs ONLY when I have Photoshop Elements in the computer. Delete Photoshop Elements and the error message does not appear. I used Photoshop Elements a lot about 15years ago and had no problems at al.  What happened?

Did you confirm your three year license using the link I provided? It’s probably cleaner to uninstall the version which lunches as a 7 day trial and then restart your computer and use the download button in your Adobe account to start the installation again.

Can you launch the Photo Editor? If so click on the Organizer button in the tool options bar at the bottom of the the application. If that works it will tell us if the problem is isolated to the Home Screen If Organizer still does not work let us know details of your computer system.

Tried opening “Photo Editor” and it came up with an offer for me to try a 7 day free trial.  I have the 2027 version as well as the 2026 version.  Have the same problem with both.

Did you purchase from Adobe or a reseller?

    Hi @Fltcheck,

    [Moved to Elements Forum]

I just tried the function and was not able to replicate what you are seeing. What is the error message? Can you include a screen shot of it?

    Thanks,

        droopy

Upon opening Photoshop Elements 2027 3 icons are displayed at the right center of the view.  They are, “Organizer” “Photo Editor” and “Video Editor”.  When I click on “Organizer” it says “Loading Organizer Workspace”.  But it does not. I get an error message, to which I have responded. It has been suggested that I disable and AD Blockers that I might have.  Tried that with no improvement.
