Unable to open slideshow project

I converted my PE2021 catalog file to PE2024 several months ago.  Now in the organizer (but not at the time of conversion), the icon for all slideshows created in PE2021 or earlier appears as a torn page.  When I click on it, I get the message "Unable to open slideshow project".  However, all the photos and videos from the 2021 catalog still open in the 2024 catalog--only slideshows do not open.  So I converted my last 2021 catalog to PE2024 again.  In the newly reconverted 2021 catalog, the slideshows open as normal.  The problem is that since the original conversion, I created many more slideshows.  Any way I can merge the two PE2024 catalogs: one containing the pre 2024 slideshows and the other containing the post 2024 slideshows?  Or any way I can fix the catalog with the post 2024 slideshows, so the pre 2024 slidshows open?  I already tried catalog repair, and no errors were found.

I copied the contents of the Projects folder in the 2021 catalog into the Project folder of the 2024 catalog.  Now all the projects created in PE2021 and earlier open in the PE2024 catalog.  Problem solved.
