Unable to print specified sizes in Photoshop Elements 2024

I'm trying to print two, 3x4 prints on one 4x6 paper, but it won't put them side-by-side, and won't even print them singly on separate sheets at the right size. When I try to specify print sizes, it says 4.00 inches is beyond the print parameters although borderless printing is selected. I've got an Epson PM-400 and am running Windows 11 on a Lenovo ThinkBook. I've done this thousands of times before in older versions of PSE and on older computers.

Is it properly set for portrait or landscape?

Yes, and to be sure I've tried it both ways.
