Unable to re-install PhotoShop Elements 2018 on my macOS Big Sur V11.6

I had a system failure on my MacBook Pro and I had to restore it to factory settigns. I succeed to reinstall all my apps but unable to run the installer for PhotoShop Elements 2018. I got an error message mentionning the installer program can't run on the current macOS version.

I try to download the last installation package (.DMG file) of Photoshop Elements 2018 but got the same error. Does anyone knows how to proceed ?

Many thanks,

Martin

You're not gonna like this:  With 99.9999999% certainty:  You will have to purchase the latest version of Photoshop Elements. During the checkout process you should be given a chance to check a box saying that you own a previouse version- Adobe checks, and the checkout process continues with a $20 discount (typically).

Older versions of Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements contain some 32bit components which were not designed to work on macOS 10.15 Catalina. Older Elements versions were released prior to the Catalina OS release, which was released in October 2019.

You did a factory reset- that alone is a "show stopper"-  meaning: you gotta purchase the latest version.
