Unable to read Nikon d850 Raw Files in Elements 19

Am running Mac.   Had previous OS, installed Elements 18 to be able to read Nikon d850 Raw files.   Many problems.   Decided to upgrade to Mojave and also upgrade to Elements 19.   Similar problem.   Organizer cannot recognize Raw files from the Nikon d850.   I can bring the file into editor and edit the file but it will not come up in the Organizer.  Is there a solution?

Problem solved.  Size of file to big for Organizer ..... so just duplicate file, reduced size and all is well.

I don't use Macs and I am not the proud owner of a D850 , but could you give some more precisions:

Organizer cannot recognize Raw files from the Nikon d850.

Does it mean you can't import those raw files at all, or that you can't have the organizer to create the thumbnails? In the latter case, what happens if you right click and choose 'update thumbnail'?  Thumbnail creation may be long for the big D850 raw files.

Thanks … I can import the file to my computer from the d850. If I go full screen on a thumb nail .. I can get the photo up. On the other hand .. when there are multiple thumb nails .. cannot see them. Also, those imported from 18 that were tagged …. Are not read… causes organizer to freeze.

It's quite possible that there is a new issue with PSE2019, even if you had other ones in 2018.

If you have some time, you could try to solve the thumbnails creation problem:

    - command 'Optimize'.

    - or better, rebuild totally the thumbnail cache by deleting or renaming the 'thumb.5.cache' in your catalog folder. You find ithe catalog folder from the menu 'Help >> System Information'. Relauch the organizer and let it rebuild the cache (a night job?).
