Unable to view the saved jpg from Photomerge

I am able to create a panorama in Elements 2023 Editor with Photomerge. But when I save it as a jpg I'm unable to view it in the Organizer.
It's displayed as a gray box with the broken letter icon. I have no problem viewing the image in File manager. So it's an Organizer problem.
I've tried this with anywhere from two to five images, same results.

Windows 11
Element 21 (2023)
ACR 17

I'm hoping this is a simple fix/workaround

Thanks

Photomerge can create files larger than is 30,000x30,000 limit: Photoshop Elements maximum image size limits. Try downsizing/

This seems to be the problem. My pc has 64gb of ram .
I'll look into this tomorrow.
Thank you!

It may not just be RAM. Check horizontal and vertical pixel count.

Are you pulling the images off a thumbdrive, then pulling the thumbdrive out?

They are Nikon Z8 raw images(NEF). I download the images via the Elements downloader from a card reader. All the NEF files are visible in the organizer. Editing and saving a single file as a jpg is visible in the Organizer.  Crerating the photmerge works well and the jpg can be viewed by selecting it from the File Manage. The file is not viewable in the Organizer.
