Update and upgrade

Question

I have  an upgrade version of Photoshop Elements 2019. It’s an upgrade from Elements 11.  On my 2012 MacBook Pro, I can install PE2019  as far as having the Home Page on screen. Trying to open Organiser or Editor  from the home page, workspace appears to be loading, but fails each time.  My old version,PE11, worked well when installed on the same MacBook, with MacOS 10.8, but needs a seemingly unavailable update for MacOs 10.15. Can anyone point me in the right direction for help, Adobe Chat just takes me round in circles…

Unfortunately, there are no updates for PSE 11 that can make it run on macOS systems Catalina 10.15 and later since

Apple removed the ability of those macOS systems to run 32 bit Applications such as PSE 11.

So any update would be to get a newer version of an application that is 64 bit and compatible with macOS Catalina 10.15

See going to

Applications/Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019/Support Files

and double clicking on the

Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor.app

starts the PSE 2019 editor

and for the PSE 2019 Organizer it would going to

Applications

and double clicking on the

Adobe Elements 2019 Organizer.app
