Updating ACR for Photoshop Elements 2020

I have reinstalled Photoshop Elements 2020 on a new desktop machine  (Windows 11) via the original DVDs. On my old machine (Windows 10) I installed an ACR update via Camera Raw plugin instructions which showed blown highlights locally, rather than the global indicator arrows at the top of the image. Please advise the technique and ACR issue number suitable to regain the viewing of local highlights/shadows, as this is far more useful than the global indication.
