I make extensive use of Photoshop Elements 10 to organise/categorise my 35000+ photos. If I upgrade to Photoshop Elements 2025 will all the tags, categories, sub-categories etc survive the process?

Thanks. I have upgraded and the process went well and it appears that all categories, sub-categories and tags have successfully come across.

generally yes.   There might be new features / tool in the organizer found in pse 2025 which may leave particular data fields blank simply because those data feilds did not exist in PSE 10.

Some users in the past have stated that there were difficulties with importing catalogues (which you will; be prompted to do the first time you run pse 2025)  but those cases really are not that frequent.

Give it a try with a 100% fully functional 7 day trial.

IF YOU DECIDE TO PRUCHASE PSE 2025:  Be away that pse 2026 is soon to be released (new versions typically get released near the end of September, to about the middle of october) you probably will not get a "free upgrade" to pse 2026.     In the past purchases of a version made within a week of a new version being released may get a free upgrade if the user asks- not all the time, but it has happened in the past.
