upgrade of older version of Photoshop Elements?

When I try to load an older version of Photoshop Elements that I have been using with Win7 onto my new Win10 computer I get an error message that my s/n is not valid.  How can I update to the version for Win10?

    What version are you using?

    Photoshop Elements 15 is the only version currently sold by Adobe.  You can usually find it less expensive than the "upgrade" pricing if you purchase from an authorized online or retail store.
