Upgrade photoshop elements 6

Question

I have an old (2009) version of photoshop elements 6 running on a mac OSX 10.10.5.  It has been acting squirrely, can't open files except through bridge, can't find the internet to upgrade, etc.  I tried re-installing it but that made no difference.  Is there an option to upgrade to a newer version?

There is no upgrade. Any reference to "upgrade" is related to marketing. Each version of PSE is independent.

The current version is PSE.15.

You can download a free 30-trial of the program, and if you like it, you can purchase the license.

Note, you may be able to obtain a discount from Adobe since you have a prior version, but I suggest that you shop around in the big box stores and at Amazon
