Upgrade PS 7 to PS 2018

Is it possible to upgrade PS 7 to PS 2018. Will the photos in PS 7 be automaticly transferred to PS 2018.

    The photo files are on your computer, they are not in the editor, they are not either in the organizer which holds only links to the real location of the media files.

    If you have used the organizer to create a catalog in an older version, PSEE 2018 will convert it to the  last catalog format. You'll recover your tags, captions, ratings etc.

    Hi Michel , thanks a lot for your quick answer. Just to make it cristal clear to me, Does it men that PS 2018 will automatically recover the tags, captions, ratings etc. or do I manually have to intervene ?
