Upgrade PS Elements 2019 bought from Apple to PS Elements 2022?

How to upgrade PS Elements 2019 bought from Apple to PS Elements 2022? Apple does not give any Adobe licence, but instead works only with Apple ID. Thank you for any reply!

Each version of Elements is a separate program that is installed independently.  Adobe will give you an "upgrade" discount if you own a prior version.  I think you are entitled to an upgrade discount, even if you purchased the older version from Apple - but I am not sure about that.  Nor do I know what Apple's policy is with respect to buying a newer version from the app store.
