Make sure Default Input in the Audio Hardware in the Preferences is set to No Input.

and that simply worked!  I was just about to uninstall Win 11 and go back to my cloned Win 10 disk.

I have to ditch Adobe next time it refuese to re-install, as it did 2 months ago and cost me £100

Clipchamp works very well.

Upgraded from Win 10 to Win 11 PSE 2024 - I can't hear any sound anymore in PSP 2024. (Premiere)

I had Microsoft on PC remote access and they can't identify the problem, re-installed Win 11 and PSP 2024, yet no sound again.

The sound from USB plus Bluetooth headphones speakers work just fine on the finished video product when exported and in all and every other other program.

I had simliar symptoms:    When I first installed my 32" monitor (It's pretty dang nice) I had to disable the audio support from the hdmi cable-    It was sending sound to the monitor thinking it had speakers, which of course it does not.  My BT Bose QC 45 BT earphones works great, but I had no audio in PE, until I disabled the hdmi cable audio going to my monitor.

FROM THE PREFERENCE FILE IN PE 2024:

Just double check these settings, se what you have in them.  Maybe they will help,  maybe they won't.

This is a user to user forum, Adobe employees do answers questions every now and then.

It's how forums have always worked.   For all software.   Forever.  It's why they are called "forums."

I took your advice, yes my LG monitors were the cause from the display ports being sent audio, there is an mini double pole output socket, too, the sound is so 1990 though, weak and pathetic mono sound. The solution I found above fixed the problem instamtly.

Many thanks for your help.
