Upgrading From PE10 to PE2025

Upgrading to Windows 11 and trying to install old licensensed PE10 caused a Windows crash. Seems like the consensus is to just upgrade to PE2025 (and being forced into periodic 3 year future upgrade cycles).

But, the main question, is whether the new PE2025 will be able to accept/process/restore a full backup created by PE10? That is crucial .. otherwise might as well junk Photoshop altogether and choose something if I need to reimport and reorganize all of my photos from raw backups.
