Upgrading from Photoshop elements 3 to 15 - maintaining collection information

Hi,

I am in the process of upgrading from Photoshop Elements 3 to Photoshop Elements 15.

The new software has downloaded and installed correctly and has identified my photo library so the images are visible in the organizer section of the program.

Unfortunately the "collections" I had set up in Photoshop Elements 3 have not appeared in the new program.

Is there any way to keep this information? I was hoping it would transfer into "Albums" in the new program.

I'm hoping someone can help as I have around 10k photos and rebuilding this information manually will be a huge task!

Many thanks

Collections will be called 'albums', yes, but you have to follow the procedure described in the "Restore from Elements 5 or earlier" section of this help file:

Move Elements Organizer catalog | Elements 6 or later
