Using "Convert to Black and white" in Elements 11 for multiple pages

Greetings!

The "Convert to Black and White" option in the "Enhance" menu in Elements 11 has a "newsprint" option that is terrific for cleaning up old yellowed newsprint documents that need to be restored a bit, in order to read them easier.  However, I am only able to apply this great feature in Elements 11, to one page at a time, of my multipage .pdf documents.  I have opened multipage documents in Elements 11, but am unable to get the "blue border" around the thumbnails of more than one page at a time in my multipage .pdf document that I have opened in Elements.  

Is there some way I can apply this terrific "Newsprint" feature of the "Convert to Black and White" "Enhancement," in Elements 11, to multiple pages simultaneously?
